Total Drama Island, not for kids, and excellent satire

TotalDramaIslandLately, I have discovered a show on the Cartoon Network known as Total Drama Island. As someone who hates all things reality on television, I think that the show has a lot of things to say about not only reality TV, but society in general.

I don’t allow my kids to watch it, because it does contain a lot of “more mature” (but not quite adult) humor. Also, I don’t think that kids will realize the reality TV culture that it satires so well.

I’ve written a guide to it that you can read here. I managed to find all the episodes of it on YouTube, and I highly recommend searching for them.

Appstand for the iPhone is Digital Picture Frame

appstandDigital picture frames are all the rage, as they are very customizable with not only photos, but videos and various other options, depending on the manufacturer.

It’s very similar to our cellular phones, and I guess it stands to reason that someone would make a digital picture frame that works off of the cell phone. This is exactly what the Appstand is designed to do.

All you need to do is just place it in the $16.99, and you’ll discover a world of framed apps for just about everything.
