Total Drama Island, not for kids, and excellent satire
Lately, I have discovered a show on the Cartoon Network known as Total Drama Island. As someone who hates all things reality on television, I think that the show has a lot of things to say about not only reality TV, but society in general.
I don’t allow my kids to watch it, because it does contain a lot of “more mature” (but not quite adult) humor. Also, I don’t think that kids will realize the reality TV culture that it satires so well.
I’ve written a guide to it that you can read here. I managed to find all the episodes of it on YouTube, and I highly recommend searching for them.
