Norway spiral explained

The Internet was ablaze with this picture that you see above. It is a spiral pattern that appeared in Norwegian skies a few nights ago. Oddly enough, about the same time Obama was visiting Sweeden to get his Nobel Peace Prize. It has been pretty much confirmed that the cause of the spiral was a failed Bulava missile that was launched from a nuclear submarine in the White Sea. It’s nice to know that it isn’t aliens, or some happening plucked from the book of Revelations.

Still, the idea of a missile that somehow got loose should scare us more, right? You can watch a video that simulates the spiral after the jump.
