Boeing 787 Dreamliner finally takes flight

I grew up in the Seattle area, and Boeing was quite close by. In fact, you could hear it from miles around.

I’ve been hearing about this Boeing 787 for years. It finally took its maiden flight, and guess what, there were no complications. It took off and landed, something that we all want our planes to do.

I can’t help but feel that there is probably a story here that is movie-worthy of Tucker: A Man and his Dream, or the giant plane at the end of the Aviator.
