An Air Purifier That Also Gives You Access To Online Pictures And Videos

twilight_JxL6x_58

Nowadays, we’ve grown accustomed to products of technology that perform once than one function. For example, a smartphone allows you to browse the web, play music, use social network sites and actually make phone calls. Furthermore, a device like an iPad gives you wireless internet access on the go, lets you run applications and also works as an e-book reader. So, we seem to favor multi-purpose devices in today’s culture. Now a concept device has been designed for air purification and providing access to pictures and videos online.

This concept is called the Twilight Air Purifier. Its main function is to provide cooling and circulation of the air in a room, adjust for the ideal temperature and offer a desired fragrance chosen by the user. This device also is equipped with an OLED sheet located over the surface on the cooling panel, which consists of polymer tubes with small holes to maintain airflow. With this OLED sheet, you can place images on display and watch videos as downloadable content.

The Twilight Air Purifier was developed by Brazilian students of Industrial Design and it also won Whirlpool’s Inova Award. Members of the design team include Camila Possato, Camila Fortes, Renan Oliveira, Sarah Carvalho and Walter Batista. Furthermore, the device is meant to reflect trends of the future involving architecture and consumer interaction with appliances and their environment. The concept of an air purifier that gives you access to online pictures and videos is a unique idea could prosper as a trendy new product on the market. However, I wonder how much the general consumer would have to pay if this device is fully realized for actual use.

A Tough Power Tool For Trimming Trees

Having the right tool for the job is important for any task you set out to do. When doing lawn care, using effective equipment definitely makes your time in the yard more productive for cutting grass, killing weeds, clearing outside waste and trimming trees. So, renowned power tools company Black & Decker has come to add another weapon to your arsenal for lawn maintenance.

The company has developed a new product called the Alligator Lopper. This power tool is a tree-trimmer that comes with a number of features. It has clamping jaws for effectiveness, a 4.5 amp motor for power cutting, a heavy duty bar and chain delivery system for handling thick branches and logs and a cutting capability of at least 4″. The Alligator Lopper was also designed with “scissor action” to make branch cutting extremely easy. This tough power tool is intended for the heavier work that manual pruners and regular loppers can’t handle.

If you currently in the market for a better tree-trimmer, then the Alligator Lopper might be the power tool you’ve been looking for. However, you’ll be paying at least $100 to include this weapon in your lawn care arsenal. It could be worth the investment, though since this power tool seems to be the combination of a hand pruner and a mini-saw. The device also comes with an alligator painted on its saw blade, which may be appealing for men like things that represent ruggedness and strength. It might be just the thing for cutting a tree down to size.
