Dropcam HD for Wi-Fi video monitoring
Some of you might remember when we were at CES, and we noted Samsung and their new Smart Cam. It would appear that these type of cameras are really becoming popular, as the Dropcam is planning to be released soon.
The Dropcam is “the world’s smallest Wi-Fi video monitoring camera”. It is designed for the home, and is easy to set up and viewable from the phone.
It is capable of 720p video, and it is designed to work without installing any software on the computer. It has and app for the iPhone and Android, and it has a Dropcam DVR for recording video, where it is encrypted and private.
Other features include two-way audio, as well as digital pan and zoom. You can even share video with a quick mouse click.
