Ainol V8000HDV can support 1280p HD video playback

ainol-v8000hdv-1280p_468It is good to see that most PMPs are getting HD video support, and this one Ainol V8000HDV can do 1280p playback support.

It has a 4.3 inch 800 x 480 screen, but it does have an HDMI output to play video on a larger screen. It has 16GB worth of storage, and supports formats like TS, MP4, AVI, MKV, MPG, PSP, DAT, WMV, VOB, ASF, RMVB, RM, MOV, M2V, QT, and M2A. It will cost about $142, but I don’t have any word about availability.

My review of the Haier Theatre PMP

-home-haieramerica-www-assets-live-b8c7e47a15_large.pngThere are a lot Portable Media Players on the market these days, and the Haier Theatre is a pretty good one.

The Haier Theatre comes in 4GB and 8GB models, and has a 3 inch touchscreen. It can do video and audio, and you can shake the unit to advance a song.

If you want to hear my take on this particular product, which I had a chance to try out, feel free to read about it here.

The Sansa Clip Plus MP3 Player from Sandisk

clipplusbigYes, there are a lot of MP3 players out there, and you don’t have to buy the ones with an “i” in front of them.

Take the Sandisk Sansa Clip Plus, for example. I had a chance to try out this tiny MP3 Player with a SD card slot, FM tuner, and voice recorder, and it is pretty decent.

Check out my full review here.
