The Sansa Clip Plus MP3 Player from Sandisk

clipplusbigYes, there are a lot of MP3 players out there, and you don’t have to buy the ones with an “i” in front of them.

Take the Sandisk Sansa Clip Plus, for example. I had a chance to try out this tiny MP3 Player with a SD card slot, FM tuner, and voice recorder, and it is pretty decent.

Tech News for the Day, Thursday, October 1, 2009

Hey, you ever heard of the Chumby? Yes, that lovely little Wi-Fi enabled device won the heart of gadget-lovers everywhere. It has a sequel now called the Chumby One. Yes, that is the second one, and yes, that is confusing.

SanDisk has some new memory cards available for the PSP, PSP Go, and Nintendo DSi. Check it out here.

AT&T has come out with the TerreStar Genus, the first phone that is capable of cellular and satellite transmissions.

Sharper Image is back with a Rotating Speaker System for the iPod and iPhone. It is one of several Sharper Image products that I will be covering in the next few months.

Here’s a concept device that I wish I had right now, a Solar Blind that absorbs sunlight during the day, and powers your electronic gadgets at night.

This next device is right out of the awesome sci-fi movie Aliens. It even has the same name as the tech from that movie: the Power Loader.

Tech News for the Day, Wednesday, September 16

For those interested in what’s new with advanced cameras, then you should read about the JVC HD Everio GZ-HM400.

SanDisk has announced the Extreme Pro, a memory card that has very fast speeds of 90 MB/second.

Have you ever given blood at a blood drive? Imagine if it was done by a robot. Enter…the Bloodbot! Yeah, I’m serious.

This Sungale lamp is sort of neat with its 3.5 inch screen, and it’s got a nice aesthetic, too.

My favorite story is about two M.I.T. students who managed to rig up a camera, weather balloon, and styrofoam cooler to create something that can take snapshots from space. Technically, it’s not from space, but it’s a better shot than I could have taken.
